Welcome to Burcu Ayşen Ürgen’s webpage.

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology and Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Graduate Program at Bilkent University. I am also affiliated with Aysel Sabuncu Brain Research Center and National Magnetic Resonance Research Center (UMRAM).

I received my PhD in Cognitive Science from University of California, San Diego (USA) in 2015. Following my PhD, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Neuroscience, University of Parma (Italy). I received my BS degree in Computer Engineering from Bilkent University, and MS degree in Cognitive Science from Middle East Technical University.

I direct the Cognitive Computational Neuroscience Lab. For research opportunities in the lab, please get in touch!
